I believe this is incorrect, as they only chance section 28 paragraph A. The Paragraph B, the matching part should be unchanged

You are absolutely correct. I was 100% wrong. This is not a concession at all. However, it’s also not a benefit until PBS is voted in. So, as far as I can tell without seeing the actual full language, there are no concessions in this TA. I’m still not happy about all of the things that are contingent on PBS but I guess having contingent items is better than going to mediation and potentially arbitration. That being said, I still voted NO. Maybe if at least 50% +1 vote no it might give the union negotiators the chance to walk in and say “Hey, just give us the contingent stuff without PBS and we’ll send it back out for another vote.” I doubt this TA will fail but I just can’t get myself to vote yes on something where half of the benefits may or may not ever be realized.

If that’s the case, there won’t be PBS for us at all! Which I assume is what most people want(?

anywho, union is going to keep doing the roadshow next week, stop by and get your lunch

Roughly new TA Capt pay is $150. every year roughly $3 up. max captain 19 years $217.50. LCA pay is roughly $50 an hour increase, with an option to go to $75. Im simplifying it but thats roughly how it goes.

Where’d you get that information? CSS says 68-80 per day in October and 66-88 per day in November.

Voting closes at 0900 eastern. Remember to vote NO! We deserve all of the “contingent on PBS” items with or without PBS.

I guess I read it wrong. You have until 1400 eastern to vote NO.

Well I guess 17% didn’t feel like voting on a new contract was important and only 7% of those who did vote felt like we deserved something better and 93% of those that voted decided seeing some bullet points and maybe 10% of the actual full language was good enough to trust that neither the company nor the union would intentionally or unintentionally screw us over in the remaining 90% of the language.
