From what I understand... there is no rhyme or reason. They have a bunch of apps to go through. I had one "not reviewed" for several months. I know that doesn't help much. I've heard of people applying, and getting the call the next day. I've heard of some being "under review" for months. Just stay positive, and stay patient.
Good luck!

Hey all, new to the forums, but I've been giving an opportunity to get on with Air Wisconsin pending an increase in hours, after meeting with them at a fair, things went well enough and I really do want to work for Air Wisconsin badly. It's good to read whats up here! I'm hoping to have my hours all up to what they want by the end of the year then submit an app to the fantastic people I talked to.

I was curious, does living in one of the cities way in on where you get based, I'm already living in the DC area and ideally that's where I would like to end up.

I'm always looking for more info on Air Wisconsin, like anyone else, I really want this job, more with Air Wisconsin than anyone else, I've done my homework and I like how they sound. If anyone working there can give me any help it would be much appreciated, please feel free to PM me.

were you offered the position?

and no you ZERO influence on where you can go (except for seniority with your class when you bid your first position)

UPDATE:
they are still interviewing about 15 a week, not sure on how they are fairing, but the interview seems to match the gouges on the interweb

...as for our class, all 12 passed indoc and systems and are headed to the sim after the new year(yes we are still paid)

I interviewed this past Thursday and got the job! They said the Jan.31st class is filled and to expect a call in a few weeks for an early Feb. class.

The afternoon group the day before me they hired at least 5. I was there with 3 others but I went last so I'm not sure if they made it or not. Can't wait to start!!!

I was in the afternoon group on Thursday. Was told to expect a late February class date. Four interviewed, three got the conditional offer.

Where are you guys buying your flight bags from? Do they want the hard sided briefcase style or is a soft sided bag ok, if it is big enough. I was told no wheels and no backpacks.

Good to know on location, I was not offered a position, but I was told by their recruitment team to just send them directly a resume and let them know I applied online and I'd be taken care of, I hope that's a very good sign!

That's great to hear! I'm hoping to have the interview by the end of January, just flying a lot to get what they need.
