Take Delta. This airline (American) treats their employees like $hit so what else do you expect. They will probably make jumpseaters list 3 days in advance.

Um... AW = ZW... he's not referring to the tail numbers.

American has been sending RJs to Peru, Indiana (KGUS). I'm guessing it's Dean Baldwin Painting that has the contract.

Not sure about where the painting will happen but our heavy checks are moving to TUL from HOT.

Heavy checks are actually moving to OKC, not TUL. I assume the TUL Jepps are just for alternate needs as I've seen nothing else about TUL.

In other news read in another post PDT getting a base in PHL, but I ain't mad. They have gates 1-9 and 17-23 or something. So they already have a good presence there. If they push us out to another base I will be happy to leave them Philly.

My sources tell me that F gates 1-3-5-7-9 in PHL are currently used by ZW and JS with 200's and 900's. Once the 145's come on line they will be scattered all over the F terminal including gates 2-4-6. Next time you are there and doing your walk a round look at where the nose gear is parked and tell me what you see. Some gates say ERJ-145, CR2-7-9, DASH-8-100, Some only say DASH8-100 and CR2. I think F-3 has them all, CR2-7-9 and ERJ-145, and DASH-8-100.

New guy to the forums. I'm just looking around at regionals and am interested in Air Wisconsin. Can anyone tell me what the junior bases are and how much should I expect to make first year? Would it be at all possible to commute from Boston? I'm actually from and currently in live in Hawaii. Thanks!

Junior bases are all four. You'll get whatever you want. Lots of guys commute from Boston. Hourly flights to lga and dca. You'll make about $27k Ish.

Your intel is just a bit off. -900s generally park at 28, 30, 37 and 39. -200s park at any gate with a jet bridge although on rare (really rare) occasion they have been parked at 4 or 6. -900s at the low odd gates (1-3-5-7-9) might be a bit tight especially with the turn into 1 and 3 with the hangar.

I would guess the 145s will only park at jet bridges as AMR spec'ed them with plug doors, not air stairs. Otherwise there will be a need for rolling steps or ramps if they park at any of the current "Dash" gates.

Of course, anything can happen down the road.

DCA is your best bet. 14 flights a day (except Sats) on Airways on the Airbus (2 jump seats), plus another 8-10 on Jet Blue.
