More like two lists. One for the 200 and one for the 700/900. The FAA is requiring PSA to divide its pilots into two lists anyways. Might as well start off with a couple hundred 200 pilots from AWAC.

The type doesn't need to be changed. A POI could "suggest" that his carrier do something be it procedural or in this case, splitting the 200 and 700/900. (No, I don't know if this is fact or not in PSA's case.) Nothing says that what the POI wants needs to be rooted in common sense.

Didn't Comair have their 200 drivers separate from the 700/900 guys?

I believe only Skywest flies all 3 variants

PSA will fly all 3 on the same day. This has the FAA really concerned. The FOQA data suggests that most incidents occur with a pilot rarely flies one of the models, and they gets thrust into one unexpectedly.
