Psa has how many total pilots on property? How many per month flow? You do the math. Also I'm pretty sure all three wo's have provisions in the contracts to hault flow based on staffing levels. Be careful not to believe everything a recruiter tells you. Talk to a military recruiter, you think they're going to tell you that you could end up as a cook? No, they're gonna show you exciting videos doing exciting stuff in exotic locales.

Envoy can meter down to 30 (if the class is more than 60 a month), if not is 50% of the Nh class (including PSA/PDT NH in that number).
At the end of the year 50% of the total NH has to be from envoy. Once the 40th E-175 arrives (approx march 2017), the protected pilots can be metered down to 25. But at the end of the year 50% of the hires has to be from envoy (including PSA/PDT flow in that calculation).
Basically, anybody hired now at envoy will have roughly 1,300 to 1,500 pilots Sr to them gone in about 4 years.

Put it this way. If you want to work for American Airlines probably the only route will be through one of the 3 WO's or being a Military Pilot. It will be hard as hell coming from another regionals. There are many AWAC, ExpressJet and a few others regionals pilots I know that American hired and them knowing for a fact that they were lucky to get hired 3 years ago because that Door is now shut.
However not everyone wants to work for American and that leaves Delta/United and few others. Have a job for sure in your back pocket at American can be nice if that's what you want when selecting an American WO'ed.

Nonsense. He "knows" people, and "knows" everything they "know". And we have to believe him, because he said so anonymously on the internet. Duh!

As of now, we have (compared to other regionals):
-bad reserve rules
-good QoL and great contract/CBA
-decreasing quality of hotels/overnights
-average or lower than average 50 seat pay and per diem
-no retention or signing bonus
-best health insurance
-no future beyond Feb 2018
-4yr 3mo upgrade
-No upgrades/ captain vacancy for now until August at least
-No commuter hotels
-EFB program still being finalized after years
-decreased amount of flying
-very low staffing levels, heavy use of reserve
Overall I'd say it's a good place to be if you live in base. Like any other regional, it's a gamble. You might end up on top if we somehow come up with an industry-leading contract and/or pick up additional flying/aircraft. Otherwise, you'll be stuck as an FO at a good regional that wouldn't be a bad place to be stuck it if stuff hits the fan.

That's great! But its few and far between. Class make up are usually around 60% flows, 20%military, 18% recalls and then 2% from other regionals. Its not impossible just stating your chances aren't good.

It will only get worse before it gets better.
