I'm scratching my head on this one. I was scheduled to work Tuesday-Friday in March. I needed a Tuesday off and saw a Wednesday-Saturday trip open. Earlier report time and higher block, thus freeing up a RSV on a Saturday. My original Tuesday show wasn't until 3pm. Put in a swap only to see it denied twice "maintain RSV coverage." ?

To be fair extra reserves on Saturday probably isn't a benefit to scheduling.
I'm not defending our schd system, it's a dumb as everyone says, but I was able to swap out 3 of my 4 trips next month already. Just took a few tries to find an option that they liked. Obv trips where higher blk and the same number of days from what I dropped.
Also I didn't write please or thank you in any of the requests, if anyone is keeping score of whether that matters.

"In 2005, US Airways was in bankruptcy court, trying to raise enough money to emerge and continue operating. CEO Bruce Lakefield put together a deal to raise about $1 billion; among the investors were Richard Bartlett, then chairman of Air Wisconsin, and Ed Shapiro, a partner at Boston hedge fund PAR Capital Management, who last week joined the board of United Airlines."
