AA did all combined hiring after August 2014. Lots of guys never applied to US even after the merger announcement. I was hired after the merger on the US side. Guess what my badge still says AA and my pay checks still come from Ft Worth. Who cares where you were hired.

Read buddy.. I'm not talking about AA or US hiring. The conversation was about flow pilots.

All I see is a bunch of AWAC guys scared, lashing out at the world. You guys knew this was coming. I knew when I was hired there in 2005.

I call absolute BS that you knew this in 2005. So much has transpired in that 11+ year span that would make knowing how this is currently being played out impossible to predict. Over-exaggerating isn't helping your position.

To know in 2005 exactly what would be happening in 2017 is a bit of a stretch.

But knowing that you better have 2015 marked on your calendar when you fly for a company that secured their ten year deal (with a two year extension) on the basis of a very large loan to their mainline partner isn't.

AWAC had a limited time contract. I left in 2014 with multiple offers. I did everything I could to leave AWAC within their contract period.

That was the wise play. No one hired around your time frame, including me, ever intended to be lifers and did what they could to move on. That doesn't make you an oracle. It makes you wise beyond your years.
