After the flow was started in just over one year Piedmont/PSA and soon ENVOY will continue to be junior airlines offering quick upgrades and a job at American while keep it's labor cost down. There just won't be many 15-25 year lifers at the WO's anymore. I'm sure over half of AWAC pilot group has more then 15 years.

You have to look at the WO's now as AAG's personal Triple A Farm Club. American has made it clear they want the operations at the WO's to even more mirror that of mainline.

Look at get it. You're mad because AWAC is going thru a hot mess right now and you see American handing out jobs to the WO pilots. I'd be hurt and upset also if I were you. However it's a two way street that benefits the WO's and at the same time the Stock Holders at AAG.

You seem to worry a bunch about a Legacy that's not even on your list of places to go however.
This has absolutely nothing to do with anything I posted. Why did you change the subject? I don't care why American has decided not to interview its new hires...The simple fact is they are not getting the best applicants out of the flow. In fact, they are getting some of the worst. You can't deny that much.

I understand your bias, but there's no need to defend the flow just because you couldn't get hired by a major without it.

Worst? Explain the worst? 14,000 hour pilots flying in the Northeast Corridor in some of the busiest airspace in old ragged out turbo props? Guys/Gals that did all that and never bent metal? You mean those worst. hahahahahahah

I'm not defending the flow. It is what it is. The flow brings in Pilots with a big amount of experience.
You're right I had the benefit of the flow. What's your excuse?

I already gave you examples of the worst. If you're going to ignore me billy then we can't have a conversation.

The flow is a great recruiting tool and a nice backup plan for pilots like yourself, but AA's flow isn't exactly designed to bring in the best of the best, is it? If there were at least some performance minimums required then I might say otherwise.

Best of the Best? LOL, you make it sound like we are navy carrier pilots or some kind of brain surgeons.

I think you'll be just fine. And I also think you'll discover this job is damn easy and there's those few handfuls that can only make it damn hard.

It's not designed to bring in the best. It's designed to keep costs at the regionals down, as well as save a buck or two in recruiting.

It's also designed so AA will have a bunch of beat down tired ex-regional guys who are just happy to be at a legacy and not at an AAG feeder getting their contract violated every other day on property when Parker comes sniffing around for a scope grab in 2020.

Seriously? If that's all you got then you should just stop now .. But I'll give you one more chance. Tell me, exactly what part of the flow prevents a guy from sitting right seat for 10 years, busting upgrade training and who knows how many other training events from flowing to American? If the worst of the worst can get in no-questions-asked, what does that say about the future of American's culture and pilot group?

Maybe the FAA needs to look at it's ATP program. Scary stuff.

The ATP is most commonly provided by the regional airline, and signed off by one of that airline's designated examiners.. But maybe you are right

I'll ask again. Exactly what part of the flow prevents a guy from sitting right seat for 10 years, busting upgrade training and who knows how many other training events from flowing to American? Let's also say he has a poor discipline and attendance record. He still gets to flow, right? If the worst of the worst can get in no-questions-asked, what does that say about the future of American's culture and pilot group?

You act like they automatically get thru training. Believe me they don't.
There's nothing to see here. Keep moving along:-)

I asked two simple questions but you don't seem to want to answer them. Why is that?
