Well, whether they (AA) knew or not, it's worth noting that the bulk of the planes I saw in the world today were Trans States and not PSA. So maybe things aren't going quite as planned for ol AAG. (one can hope anyway)

PSA's DCA base is a 700 base, not a 200. TransStates is doing the 50 seat flying out of DCA.

Kirby or Parker said a year ago that AWAC had executed their extension but after that would be replaced in a Crews News. An FA asked about up gauging the ORF-DCA flights and they said when AWAC was gone it would still be a 50 seater.
Just remember how AWAC ended up with US Airways. United canceled their contract and forced them out in a very expedited manner. That is why there are so many guys hired in the 2004-2006 time period and not many from before. They all got tired of commuting and went elsewhere. The PHL crewroom (hanger) was horrible those first couple months, no crashpads and people were sleeping everywhere.

Owners negotiate CPA's, employees manage and work the operation.
It was always about the owners. The scan show incredibly wrong information posted. Lucky? I spit my coffee out in laughter. The more education you have, (Princeton, Yale law, etc.), the harder you work, the luckier you get!
