Tried searching for this answer in the thread, unable to locate apologies if I looked over it. Wondering where ZW Pilots wind up going if they decide to move on? I hear a lot go to Southwest, Spirit and United. Is there a mainline or LCC that ZW has a good reputation from hired FO candidates? Any chance someone has the numbers on where ZW Pilots go, that’s more reliable than word of mouth? Be nice if the company put this on their webpage like a lot of other regionals. Thanks.

I was looking for any current information about CAE based flying, since it's been several months since I've seen much mentioned of it on the forum (or maybe I'm not looking in the right place).
Here's what I gathered from a few other folks who were kind enough to share the info:
- CAE could be held relatively quickly and sometimes before the completion of training.
- Reserve times also seemed to be relatively short, with a lot of flying.
- Expect 4 day trips, with a very early start on Day 1 and late finish on Day 4.
I was also wondering about the current frequency of junior manning. I have 2 good friends from my Marine Corps flying days who flew with Air Wisconsin for about a year before moving to JetBlue. One of their primary gripes was a lot of JM, but this information is about a year old.
Any updates or corrections would be much appreciated.

Expect 4-5 months from day one to start of ioe, be happy for anything less. There is a gap of anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months between systems and cpt/sims.

Rob Binns has been named the new president of ZW. This should not be welcome news to your pilot group. He helped lead the demise of World Airways/North American, and helped tank Trans Meridian. Be very careful with what he sells especially if it involves bringing in a hedge fund who can “inject capital” for much needed improvements. Best of luck to you all.

Binns brings over twenty-five years of airline and industry-related experience to his new role, including Chairman and CEO of Global Aviation Holdings, a holding company for World Airways and North American Airlines [He drove them out of business]. He has also held CEO, CFO, CMO and other executive roles at Hybrid Enterprises (Lockheed Martin) [I haven't seen those blimps flying yet], TransMeridian Airlines [Out of business], Pegasus Aviation and Trans World Airlines [Out of business].

The fact the amigos are close to retirement and Binns’ history would lead me to believe some form of sale is approaching or merger with someone.
