Nice work guys.
Republic Airways is the only example I can think of where the pilots came out without getting their contracts gutted by the bankruptcy judge. I'm not personally sure if that's all over and done with though. Everyone else took some hits so the company's cost structure could get in line with what the courts wanted.. To blame the Pinnacle guys for controlling their own destiny versus leaving it up to a judge is a bit harsh.

What is that saying again? Never criticize someone until you've walked in their shoes? The dynamics's of an airline bankruptcy are way too complex
For the young and inexperienced in this regard to do Monday morning quarterbacking. And there's no proof to say that it's damaged the regional industry today. People still believe we as regional pilots have all this pull. We are still contract lift. The pendulum is turning, but I don't believe it was slowed down by any bankruptcies

But, it wasn't just their own destiny. Remember, RAH, Eagle, and XJT were in negotiations at the same time. Pinnacle was at bat 1st. They set the stage.

That was then followed by PSA and PDT.

And they were also bankrupt with a judge on deck waiting to determine their future. So either take the best offer or a crappier one from a judge when those were the two options. I'd say it was the best of a really bad situation.

Nope Mesaba, Comair, and Mesa all were prior to the Pinnacle bankruptcy. You're really starting to show your inexperience. How long have you been in the industry?

Lol a pilots market in 2012. I don't know where you obtained your education but you should request a refund because they short changed you. Big time.

No, no no. "Stop the whipsaw" campaign. By your logic, we could go all the way back to the 1st day of the railway labor act....geez.
