This was about a year ago so maybe there has been something in the works for a while. Time will tell....

Hey Whackjob -

You won't do it but how about you post your W2 pre acquisition and one post purchase. Put your money where your mouth is. Mr. "downgraded thanks to Gary."

I've actually flown with many level headed AT guys who acknowledge how much better off they are.

Suppose the American thing is true and they buy the existing owned airbuses and assume lessee responsibilities for the leased airbii, do the pilots go with them or are we chained to the sinking ss alaska? Has anything like that occurred ever?

It's occurred plenty of times. Pan Am pilots who were on the right a/c went with their planes to Delta and United when Delta bought the Atlantic routes/NE Shuttle and United bought the Pacific routes.

That said, it doesn't always happen. Some airlines have it in their PWA but I don't know if the Alaska one does. I'd expect that to be a lower priority than scope would have been and I understand there's not a whisper of scope in there.

If they do, they just have to sell it to some holding company that isn't an airline for a day before they go to the real intended buyer. That separates the pilots from the aircraft.

Is that crickets I'm hearing?

I like the challenge--if it's not accepted, the truth will be obvious.

Sure, I’ll get right on posting personal information on the internet. Are you high?

First of all, I could care less if you believe that I took a 20-25% pay cut through the forced downgrade or not. If you don’t believe that then you’re just arrogant and ill informed.

Sure. The “truth” is obvious. It’s obvious that you’re too arrogant to accept the fact that someone could have taken a pay cut due to a downgrade. There’s the “truth” for you....
