Hey, all this banter won't matter because in less than 12 years we'll all be dead or on bullet trains.... AOC said so!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not even an AS guy, but many friends are - on both sides of the house. What I see is a SWA dude coming in here stirring up crap on a Alaska forum.

We get it man. SWA is AWESOME!! You're gonna rule the world.

Give it a rest man. Jeez.

I never understood pilots beating their chests over decisions made by management. MY airline is kicking YOUR airlines ass, because MY management team did X and yours did Y!

It happens constantly on this site on all forums by people who seem to desperately need a hobby or something to take pride in for themselves.

Because this is how he gets when anything negative is written about SWA.

Agreed. It’s maddening.
“I can’t wait until we kick airline x’s butt and then buy them.” is a statement I hear often here. Is that really what you wish for? I don’t think so. Just fly the danged plane.

I literally DGAF about who 'wins' or 'loses.' If everyone does well enough to keep their companies profitable and negotiate better contracts, pilots win. The network planning gurus and marketing people can beat their chests over winning or losing in market x, y, and z.

I have no more loyalty to my company than the people in the puzzle palace have to me. I strive to be loyal to my profession.

Hey now. Mergers always make pilots happy. SLIs are fun, right?

then and than... well done... You win
Since you are a math wizard, ERJ’s make up 17% of our total fleet count. They are much less of our total capacity on a percentage basis.
AAG has 65+ existing or firm orders for ERJs plus another 35+ options. There are also over 50 q400s at Horizon. 65/235 is 27% and that's only including the existing/firm ERJs.

Besides the number 76, what kind of pilot gives a $#@# about capacity in this day and age?
