Middle seats unblocked allows reduction of active aircraft which will drive up load factor towards breakeven. It also allows a reduction in active payroll which also helps with break even. Ben will reduce the size of the airline down to break even for sure. If a Max order comes it will not be for growth. Likely for each Max that arrives a couple 320’s will leave. A couple years of that will stop the hemorrhaging and by 2024 we should start climbing out of the hole....Just another normal decade in the airline business

actually I’ve been doing a fair number of Cabo turns, all at or near capped capacity. I can’t speak for other cities.

Giving up frequency is not a good idea in what is bound to be a vicious fight for the domestic market share.

It’s also what our Union MEC said about OTZ when he was citing the exact percentage of the pilot group that was getting furloughed, to the tenth of a percent. It’s just garbage. Some self important troll wants to feel important about themselves so they come here and spew garbage.

It’s really pathetic.

So what was the number of letters going out latter that week, until WM and the union jumped over flight ops to ST.... I think that number I have seen somewhere before. Ask the union for the number, they know it too. You sir are slooooow.

Keep undermining the Union... let’s see how that works out for you.

Reading latest JL email, it doesn’t look like any furloughs. The opposite in fact.

It seems like the complete opposite.

remember this from April... two days ago M says we are now growing... JL says growing today. 237 -15% = 201... .... yeah newguy, draw down on M. Terribly inaccurate, new guy... what you got, please try.

Id keep in my mind how quickly and how often the plan here changes, with the reported case numbers and states locking down the furlough threat won’t disappear for quite some time, but yes, his email today is good news.
