I’m extremely disappointed that AS has chosen not to negotiate certain items in our CBA and asked for mediation to delay.

Talk about disappointment

That’s not doxxing. CPs regularly CC other CPs and the System Chief. This was kept private between mgt and the pilot involved until blasted on Alyeska, and now worse, on APC.

Just because doxxing is the official policy doesn’t stop it from being doxxing …

It’s a discipline issue, only the appropriate parties are tagged. The two people tagged are her direct bosses. They’re probably required to keep a paper trail so there’s never a he said she said situation. This isn’t doxxing. Doxxing involves taking a party and ratting them out to the general public. That did not happen here. These are not public officials, they are all directly your bosses.

This pilot knew exactly what he/she was doing, and IMHO it was a low blow. I don't agree with the email tone and approach but this pilot deserves a little berating. You know darn well you can't fly for 48 hours after getting the vaccine. Get it on your time off for call in sick! Of course pulling some foolery to get Christmas off is gonna send a red flag up the chain...

That being said, this pilot is in a lot more trouble now that he/she sent screenshots of it that have ended up everywhere.

Eh, I think you're being pretty ridiculous. They said get the vaccine by the end of Jan which means you need to start the process by Jan 04 or whatever deadline they put in that most recent email. One pilot getting a vaccine around Christmas should not put us into severe irregular ops or cause a BCP to lose his cool. It's business as usual. Big deal, staff the airline accordingly for holidays as well as regular off season flying, and quit trying to put the blame on line pilots.

Only one of the names on that letter is her boss….The others are not and it is none of their business at all. She chose to take it out of the CoC…,,

Isn’t this the exact reason they have pilots on reserve…?

Condescending and disgraceful (for the position), but if you actually think that is a "hostile" work environment then you have no flipping clue what you're talking about.

Truth is the company is demanding the pilots get vaccinated, why anyone would do that on their own time is beyond me. The company has been short handed for awhile, with it coming to a head over this weekend. I don’t blame a pilot for gaming the system to spend time with their family. Staffing levels aren’t and shouldn’t be the concern of a line pilot. Not enough pilots to cover that flying, chief pilots have to fly over a holiday, have to cancel flights? So be it, April 2019, 12.6%, are all the reminders I need.

P.S. don’t forget you contractually protected annual physical with your primary care doctor.

Incorrect on basically every front. They said get the vaccine by the end of Jan, HOW MANY MONTHS AGO? Not the company's fault you procrastinate.

It isn't about one pilot sending ops into pandemonium, it's about this pilot either playing dumb, or is unfortunately actually dumb. You know darn well you can't fly for 48 hours, he gets it right before a reserve period starts. Hey, it's his middle finger to the company, great... But to think this wouldn't flag and go up the chain is so insane to me. We all know there are substances and medications that make you unfit to fly. We all know that the vaccine falls under this rule. This pilot could have punched out sick and said "my bad, I got the vaccine and this was the only available appointment, so I can't sit reserve"

This isn't the company's fault, this is 100% on the pilot. Now that he spread the company email, he is in real trouble.
