Because you don’t understand how it works… Effective date🙄. They can still train and still fly as a CA all summer and then their effective reduction would be September 1, which they could also extend 60 days longer if they needed them. I am not going to argue it’s the best way, but the bus departure is going to produce some weird outcomes over the next 18mos. This summer is a bandaid. We will have 10 Airbus on property by late fall of 2023.

Why reduce the Airbus when we are purchasing an Airbus operator?

What a waste. What a tease. I'd also say there's a greater chance that the company cancels their Airbus training outright in the name of efficiency. The company has no idea what it's doing and is jerking us around in the process. |

You're just a walking contradiction. You say they're being efficient, but these guys won't have enough time in the left seat to even consolidate before being displaced.

Agreed. Having two fleet types really helped in the decision to furlough vs no furlough. Two fleets makes it complicated. A single fleet would have been an easy downgrade and furlough. Recalls would have been quick too. But forcing people from Bus to Boeing and vice versa complicated things. Good for us.
