Make it a four way with Hawaiian, so they can get lei-ed.

I say that a little bit tongue in cheek, but if Alaska is now “hunted” as mentioned earlier, I sure hope it’s another ALPA carrier, I know people feel like anything would be better than Alaska, but I don’t see an acquisition by Southwest ending well at all for Alaska pilots.
If LUV attempts a takeover, it won't be the first time. This time, it may work. I've never wanted to work for Corndog. Fortunately, it's a career airline and my career is nearing an end. SWAPA+ALPA merger will not be very fun. Critter was a shack and the Eskimo is an old but a decent townhouse. I doubt that the 100 unit apartment complex owner will be very kind. Some will hit the lotto and some will win a scratcher. More fun times ahead.

I am confident HA was the direction AS Executives wished to go. Sounds like the board decided to explore other options. My understanding is AS needs to have us under a long term contract per conditional agreement. AS management needs a contract they can live with though just in case the DOJ shoots this down. I guess 2,500 737 typed airmen is kinda valuable right now.

I guess they will be receiving their valuable 737 types in the future.
