Not necessarily. AA can probably be acquired for pennies right now.

But that would be a whole lot of bases to close, and a lot of buses and WB's to park to align AA with the PNW model.

Gotta admit, this management group knows its limitations.

Just because the pilots at Alaska could fly heavies and heavy routes….. doesn’t mean our management team is competent enough to run an airline with them.

Alaska can’t even properly staff the current fleet, let alone a full Boeing fleet by the end of the year, and you want them to get a fleet of widebodies to compete on international markets? To compete with Delta out of Seattle? Let me know when a pilot takes the helm at CEO, so I can short ALK stock to bankruptcy.
