Watching the 787 park at the N gates was borderline embarrassing yesterday. The ramp crew wasn’t ready. Just like they aren’t ready for a 737. Nothing shocking there. However, a 787 parking at the west corner of the N gates blocks the Bravo taxiway and stops all aircraft taxing north to runway 16R. Or anywhere north of the N gates. It took a comical amount of time and also prevented us from parking as well. So I had a great view of the entire debacle from M holding short of 16L.
Hopefully operations gets ***** slapped by the Port if they keep running things as poorly as they have been. It’s a real shame what is happening around here. Nothing we can do or say to stop it, sadly.

How can they possibly be making so much money if they keep doing that?

Heartbreaking… I hope you took pictures and submitted an irregularity report. Dudes like that are the reason the company is „right sizing“ our PBP this year… Don’t forget to „take care of you and yours“ this holiday season. (As long as that doesn’t entail calling in sick to take care of them.)
