It took a comical amount of time and also prevented us from parking as well. So I had a great view of the entire debacle from M holding short of 16L.

Hopefully operations gets ***** slapped by the Port if they keep running things as poorly as they have been. It’s a real shame what is happening around here. Nothing we can do or say to stop it, sadly.
Yes the port has been pizzed off about 787 tails hanging over B.

Yet somehow the pilots will be blamed for it for running the APU to much, not taxing on a single engine or calling in sick… Not to mention utilizing the flaps and brakes.

I holding short of 16L behind a Delta 220 today I noticed that they were not just running both engines but the APU.

How can they possibly be making so much money if they keep doing that?

Heartbreaking… I hope you took pictures and submitted an irregularity report. Dudes like that are the reason the company is „right sizing“ our PBP this year… Don’t forget to „take care of you and yours“ this holiday season. (As long as that doesn’t entail calling in sick to take care of them.)

They get a 30% revenue premium on corporate spend vs their competitors.

An erratic schedule that changes every 2 weeks so no business could plan around it topped off with a complete lack of relevance outside the PNW(Not that you were actually wondering).

How will they know there is a SEA problem if you don’t write an irregularity report? Also is it an irregularity if it happens all the time? If you don’t eat your meat you can’t have any pudding!
