They've done it twice. Arguably there is no other airline better suited to buy an airline and draw its fleet down...

Boeing realized their products and workmanship couldn’t compete anymore, so years ago they concocted a plan to infiltrate and use Alaska as a vessel to eliminate the Airbus competition from US markets

yet Boeing aircraft don’t have to make tech stops or leave bags behind…. Weird??? It’s like SWA, Ryan Air, Allegiant, Alaska and all the other MAX operators knew what they were doing.

oh forgot Westjet. Who else? If only everyone when with the PW GTF engines!!

I don't recall making any necessary tech stops in an airbus. There were a few "preassigned" ones that were not necessary back in the early merger days. Various rumors as to why that was being done, but never heard a good explanation.

We had LEAP engines. Essentially identical benefits, issues and limitations to the max.

”leaving bags behind” is pretty much why the HNL-SLC is moving to the 737. In the summer the 321 can’t take a full load and we have to block seats.

the Boeing -8/9is pretty capable with enough runway just that’s the issue it’s needs a good 10k feet to be fully capable. The NEO smokes the Boeing in short runway airports like DCA OGG LIH and I’m sure I’m forgetting some others stateside but the Neo is better performer on short runway airports that can command a premium
