Call me an eternal pessumist, but I perceive it as rather unlike that the max10 will enter service without at least one more significant round of embarrassing and expensive "growing pains". I hope I'm wrong since the rest of my career is absolutely chained to it.

Boeing is actively and literally producing them and stuffing them where they can, for when the green light comes. They know it will be certified. It will be certified.

The angry sfo VX population is too far gone to be saved and they suck to fly with
No they definitely do not suck to fly with. I’m my short time here, on reserve for over 2 years, getting used all over our spread thin reserve system, my favorite captains are former virgin. Sure there’s a few that slipped through, but I largely find that virgin hired with personality as a priority and it shows. They are great people that make my reserve life as good as it can be. Crap comment. Unity

If he thinks the VX crowd is bitter, just wait til the Hawaiians get ahold of him after having their way of life turned upside down and being banished to a $hitpig of an airplane for perpetuity…

Since I started flying the 737 8 years ago:

The MCAS issue will be resolved soon

The Boeing strike will be resolved soon

The door plug and MAX grounding will be resolved soon

Ongoing:

The MAX anti ice issue will be resolved soon

The MAX 10 will be certified soon

Next up:

The eAOA issue will be resolved soon

The FMC software update will be resolved soon

The Everett factory production issues will be resolved soon

I wonder when we will be collectively smart enough to recognize a pattern and be honest about where our careers are headed.

This is a trope that simply does not exist. SFO VX pilots aren't angry. You might have crappy and bitter CAs just just happen to be former VX.

There are some real freaking weirdos in SEA an ANC, but I don't rope every pilot in as being weird just because some are.

You're flying a 737. You will continue to fly a 737. They will continue to manufacture and build 737s for the foreseeable future. That's where our careers are headed. You know this, and have known this for years.

How astute.

The crux of the matter is not if, it’s when.
