Well, I guess they are cleaning the applications they have backup. I just got this email right now too.

If you read through the thread, there are guys with more flight time who got the TBNT letter.
A lot of Alaska's hiring criteria include community service, equal opportunity and, of course, who you know/are related to.
Trying to figure out the correct combination is something of a Gordian Knot.

Like it or not, that's the deal. Even updating on the website won't do anything for you. They review applications once and rank them after the window closes. The only way to get "re-ranked" is dropping one off at an official job fair or event.
