The best targets for AS are OBAP and WIA. They always send a flight ops/HR team there. Good for networking if nothing else.

If you haven't already type something into the comment boxes like N/A. That should work. I had the same issue with the education section and never found a fix.

I have a question from any former QX FOs hired at AS recently. I understand that you can apply to AS with 2000 QX SIC. Would AS consider your app if you only have 1000 QX SIC but exceed the posted AS mins?

For those of you that applied, if you posted a cover letter, who did you address it to?

Alphasierra, are you saying you meet the AS mins? If so, your QX SIC time is not required.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the 2000hrs of SIC required for Horizon pilots. It has been my understanding this was to wave the 1000TPIC requirement previously required. The current public job posting does not list any PIC requirement. The internal posting also does not state any PIC requirement, however it adds the "2000 hours in multi-engine turbojet/turboprop aircraft at Horizon Airlines". Does anyone know why this would still be in the internal posting if the PIC requirement was removed and non-Horizon pilots could potentially get hired without any PIC?

I rather doubt there is any potential for a non-QX guy/gal with no PIC to get a call. I'll grant it's not impossible, but very unlikely.

My understanding was the 2000 hr. SIC qual applied to QX pilots ONLY.

It would also be very unlikely that you'd be working for the air group not as a FO or Capt with horizon and still have the quals to apply to the internal posting.

What is the latest estimate for upgrade time for a new hire? I understand that there are a lot of variables but what is the latest. Thanks
