Probably too late now or I would. It is a huge deal to a lot of companies. Alaska isn’t special in that.

Sooo anywayyyy….back on topic; a friend of a friend was just given an early September interview date so it sounds like those that applied and are waiting should be hearing soon.
And for right now, there is not any requirement to be vaccinated to work here.

It's a perfect screener for companies to assess if they want you to move their metal.

Alaska worries about nearly everything under the sun with the exception of pushin metal on time, being a fierce competitor and retaining enough quality personnel to make it all happen.

That was the good thing about paying employees to get it. Then you know who is vaccinated. We were told that we were on our own. No pay. No sick leave afforded for the FAA mandate of 48hrs no flying post poke. Guess what? I’m not going to voluntarily disclose something that management didn’t help me with. You get what you pay for…

Alaska used to be the only airline (or one of a couple) where nicotine use was not allowed for new pilot applicants. It was published in the pilot minimum requirements. Abortion and voting are false equivalency. None of those things are viral that spread and infect, hurt, or kill others. You clearly have an opinion - and he has his.
