No, but we have flown out of CAK. Grew up in western PA, just across the border from Youngstown. PIT is 1 hr away, CAK is 1:15, and CLE is 1:30. As long as it's a 24 hr layover in PIT, CLE, or even CMH, I'll rent a car and go see them. Had a 48 hr layover in EWR once and just flew to PIT and hung out with them.

Call me crazy but I like (and miss) PA, OH, and MI.

Yeah it was. Sad they don't go there anymore.

I remember Airtran at CAK was once the largest carrier there, and for ages 18-22 they had X-Fares (standby for normal passengers) for about $50. I used to do that to LGA as a college kid sometimes.

So, I'd think twice before applying. Union just made this video to show bad things are getting at Alaska

The guy that went to Allegiant left for a management position (equivalent to JS in our training department), for what that's worth.

Also, for how many people sh!t on Allegiant, their pilots have 1000x the control over their schedules as we have, earn at least as much, and have ironclad scope protections. They aren't the joke, we are.

It's not how bad things are getting, it's how bad they are. No job protections, no ability to control your schedule, life is grand.

Probably worth sharing to all the other pages too.
