Throw in an app at great Texas 73 operator. You’ll have the base you want in no time, and the flexibility in schedules like you wouldn’t believe. The best part is they even have Dr. Pepper on board, no boxed water bull crap.

I like my boxed water with extra cardboard pulp

Heard a SWA newhire class was supposed to have 40, only 11 showed up. These problems are spreading to everyone except the big 3. |
You'd think they would try everything in their hands to retain pilots that they have

I think that jetBlue CEO (COO?) on the investor call was correct in their Q&A about pilots. He basically said that the industry is fundamentally changing and he thinks that pilot pay/compensation will get aligned up for all carriers. |

It’s funny that you think management reads replies to their emails from the pilots…
it’s also funny that based off the 20-30 replies on alyeska that say people sent “my mec speaks for me” that a large percentage sent an email like that. I’d be willing to be less than 1 percent reply to those emails with that. The same 20-30 people constantly reply on that forum.. that’s like 3000 pilots that never say anything at all

Not strange at all......lets not forget that this was after private mediation was a disaster. This was the companies "olive branch" to extend to the pilot group in an attempt to gain trust. "see? we WANT to work with ALPA to get you guys the best contract (that aligns with our own values) you deserve....thats why we filed for mediation....."
Its all optics......I hope they finally start to realize that the phrase "My MEC Speaks For Me" isn't a computerized automatic reply. |

Getting ALPA to spend our dues 3D printing a bunch of orange-colored plastic crap to hang our headsets on (who knew that was a problem that needed fixing!). That'll teach management a lesson they'll never forget! |
