I would expect the upgrade time to increase as the rest of the Airbus pilots get displaced to the Boeing

My effective date for captain upgrade is March 2nd. I took first available. Bidding for captain every time it came up. I will have been at AS 4 years and 11 months.

I'd plan on at least 5 years. Keep in mind it could be much longer if the 800 FOs who are senior to me decide to upgrade.
