I received the TBNT email about two months ago after doing a video and phone interview. Do I need to wait 6 months to reapply or should I keep applying every time there is a new requisition number? The TBNT email only stated that I should keep my resume updated for future consideration.

I won't comment on total list numbers, but I will say that I was hired late last year and there have been less than 30 pilots leave who were senior to me (average of about 3 a month). So attrition isn't high... Who knows though, maybe it will pick up.

Its growth. For the last six months, we have lost about 2 a month off of the seniority list. Most of those have been off of the bottom.

To understand the Allegiant route map, you have to understand the Allegiant business model. The model is to take passengers from small town USA to vacation destinations. The orange dots are the vacation destinations. Airplanes (and crews) are based at the vacation destinations and fly out to the small towns and back. The limitation to that has been that there is only so much ramp space at the vacation destination, so in the larger small towns that feed multiple vacation destinations, Allegiant has opened small bases (usually 1-2 airplanes). These are locations like AVL, CVG, etc.
Many of the vacation destinations (like AUS and San Juan) are not big enough to be a base yet so they are served by other bases.
VPS and MYR are seasonal vacation destinations and are staffed with crews and airplanes that have been TDY'd from other bases. I suspect VPS will become permanent soon, but it is not yet a permanent base.

It does appear we are heading towards having a lot of bases with 1-2 aircraft. They just announced IND for next spring. Once the transition is done and maybe have even added some additional planes, you may see more and more of the strong "outstation" markets, that consistently do well, be potential bases.

Applied to last FO listing and that one is "Being reviewed". Uploaded a current resume but the system will not allow me to remove the old one so it looks weird having 2 there. I emailed the HR department from the website address to ask about that and am waiting a response. While I was waiting, I decided to apply for the new FO listing and it seemed to carry over all my information from the last one. Hope I didn't jack up the system by doing that. We will see.

Glad I got a warm body reply.

Just got the TBNT email 😩 Oh well. Next time. I thought 5100 hours TT of which 3500 turbine PIC would be enough. Maybe it's a lack of 121 time.
