How else did you think they were going to move up the AB transition by a year!?

Just admit I was right and move on. I called it over a month ago.

Exactly....January/February classes might get skipped to provide a little relief out in Vegas. That’s directly from the source(s) that are in control of hiring. I’m curious to know if there will be any new hires in the 80....I can’t imagine any reason why there would be now that the transition hasn’t been pushed up so much.

I've heard no more 80 new hires unless attrition increases on that side.

Don't listen to ECAM, it's just a reduction at this point. It will probably be small classes of 8-12 people. Don't hesitate to call Ernie if you want clarification.

I can't see the company canceling a class within 2 weeks and leaving people hanging. If they were to do it, they would let you know in advance, but I don't think they will. I wouldn't worry about it. Give your two week notice, and plan on being here.

Hiring may decrease, but there's still lots of pilots in the pipeline.

I guess you weren't here when AL told the guys in GRR to go ahead and buy houses, the base was here to stay.

I was here and I never understood that base from the beginning. How could they not have anticipated the snow by the foot, tremendous deicing costs, and inability to operate on time. It's GRAND RAPIDS!

I'd say anyone who moved there and bought a house didn't think things through either.
