IBT and GU are responsible for your current contract. Why would you stake your future livelihood on that same guy negotiating your next contract?
Is ALPA going to fix all of your issues? No. But they’re sure as heck going to do a lot better than anything GU and toonsters can provide. So why give toonsters a second chance when they’ve already proven themselves as being inept when it comes to negotiating your contract?

You know the excuse they all give is that they don’t want to delay negotiations. These are the same people that two years ago were saying we’re two years away, and today will tell you again we’re two years away. Switching to ALPA won’t delay anything. It will help by getting resources in the room that we so desperately need. Instead, people seem to be content to wait out years more of negotiations and end up with a substandard contract anyway. It’s almost hard to believe the size of the debacle this has been.

We had an ALPA drive just a few months ago and it failed. You guys should have tried harder or at least identified yourselves. You say you want alpa but did nothing to see your own drive through. Blame yourselves.

teamster tom you are the best. Were you a trucker before flying the bus? What is it that motivates you to defend the teamsters, GU, AR, etc and ignore all the drama and malfeasance that has ruined our pilot group?
This is a serious question, I sincerely cannot understand why you are still defending the teamsters like they are your own children.

Its simple, I am supporting those who put in all the work and effort, many of them volunteers. I don't blame them because the company doesn't want us to have a contract. You point out everyone's else's flaws but offer no solutions of your own, that's called whining. Why don't you join the Union and show them how its done, show them everything they are doing wrong and fix it for us.
