I don’t even know where to start with this but it’s gonna be before January.
First if you’re not a complete idiot and can read you would know that it’s RJ‘s fault that we got put in trusteeship! Read the transcripts for yourself, he admits he filed false allegations that were found baseless. Those allegations are what allowed GU to push for an emergency trusteeship from O’Brien. RJ then worked with GU and was his prime witness in the trusteeship hearing. You tell me if 2 years under GU made us weaker or stronger?
Fast forward to January…in an effort to keep IBT on property he delayed a bridge deal in pursuit of a contract despite being told that there was little chance of getting a contract before the merger close. In fact he was told there has never been a full contract successfully negotiated after a merger announcement. Thus in delaying he shat the bed and left us crying in our own feces at the mercy of the company.
I’ll make a deal with you right now, if our pay rates on this bridge deal are better than the dec 2014 mailer rates I’ll delete this account and never post again. If you think your boy did better you can man up and make the same deal.

there’s too much gray area imo to litigate whether more Robles or GU trusteeship was worse.
i am just talking about January to the present. Since that time RJ did exactly what he was elected to do. The alternative would have been JR, Jay, J Allen, and the GU mafia. RJ is absolutely better. There is no way we would have even gotten PBS done if the old regime were still in power. Never forget the mantra of the old IBT regime is that they are COWARDS. They are terrified of making a deal because they are thin-skinned, hyper sensitive, ego maniacs that would rather do nothing than agree to a deal.
had the Unity team won we would have rolled into JCBA without a bridge/contract, and gotten destroyed at SLI and then JR, Jay and GU would have used their only playbill and screamed that the arbitrator was in management payroll/corrupt and that is why we all lost a decade in a relative seniority to SY pilots.
That is the only game the IBT knows because they are all cowards and too afraid to make a deal. They’d rather just blame others, tell us that the mediators are corrupt, the NMB is corrupt, management is bribing ppl, etc.
I think if RJ gets anything done it will be better than whatever the old regime could have done. It takes real cajones and leaderships to make a decision when all the options suck.

2 years of GU absolutely made us weaker but that I don’t blame RJ because the alternative to GU would have been more Robles and you should know how I feel about him by now. TLDR: Robles and GU are in a mortal deadlock for who did more damage to Allegiant pilots.

This update was by far the most disappointing one I’ve had to read so far. Why the cloak and dagger BS making us wait over the weekend for the “big news” until Tuesday? An AIP means absolutely nothing. Converting that to a TA can be months/years/never. This should be the final straw for anyone wanting an excuse to go.

So far he is doing better than prior leadership. An AIP is not nothing. PBS is done.

I’m comparing RJ to prior leadership, nothing else. If Unity wins then we are guaranteed to get nothing annd go into JCBA with a way worse contract than SY annd get destroyed during SLI arbitration.
