You guys are stuck in the past while we're getting bent over in the present.

Who cares what RJ, Robles, the former NCs, or GU did to get us to this point? It can't be changed. Get over it.

Read the language when it comes out and vote on it. Friendly reminder that there's a better than 0% chance whatever you vote on will be your contract for the next 10 years. Can't wait for the "oh yeah just eat this s#!t sandwich and we'll make you whole on the JCBA" from the company.

Oh and I'd maybe read through the PBS rules more than once. NavBlue can find available pilots in the system a lot easier than a crew scheduler using Excel.

oh yeah PBS is going to kick our teeth in. Just after they completely dump and flush the entire system so they can staff FLL

How ALPA takes care of pilot groups during negotiations.

what is your alternative hightime? Do nothing and get our teeth kicked during SLI arbitration. Be realistic this is the deal or we get nothing until JCBA.

NMB has already said no more dates once the merger happens. And if there’s no dates then management has zero obligation to even talk to the union let alone negotiate.

we’ve been checkmated so make a decision. Every Allegiant pilot has a decision to make: vote no and get nothing until JCBA, vote yes and get what we can now, or leave. Those are the options and they all suck, but one is by far the worst option and that is getting destroyed at SLI arbitration with a terrible contract that loses us a decade in relative seniority and significant downgrades.

We will find out what the Allegiant pilots want when we get a chance to vote on this AIP.

Cmon, yeah cut your nose off to spite your face. There is no way Robles was worse than the trusteeship. Just think of it from a contract perspective…90% of the sections we TA’d were under the previous Eboard. GU and his guys TA’d one or two (that were mostly done when they arrived) and RJ didn’t TA any. Given that math we probably would have been done with this in 2013 if the trusteeship hadn’t happened. Hate Robles if you want to, I don’t think he was perfect either but you have to admit what was done to this pilot group by the IBT probably should be looked at by the DOL for racketeering and fraud and RJ was part of that.
I get you think of RJs cajones a lot but this bridge isn’t an accomplishment it’s assuredly not what he was elected to do since the merger wasn’t in anyone’s mind at the time…he failed upward into the president position because the alternative was unthinkable and then succeeded in accepting something that’s subpar to what we were offered 2 years ago(mark my words). As far as PBS goes, it’s done because he abandoned the Block award…the damage that will cause is yet to be known. But keep carrying that torch!

Is that Kenny back from Robles’ bed? The only sections Robles got TA’d was the low hanging fruit and union business. Robles was awful. It’s revisionist history to go back.

if Robles was so great then why did he lose to JR’s team in the election and that feel the need to cover it up. Even if Robles team won, why was it so close? In the midst of mediation he gets ousted because he was not good. He had no experience and he used the culinary attorney as his lackey.

robles was a joke, a wannabe union boss that got played by MG and management.

all of them are wannabe union boss's and all they have done is take our money without a return. The current guys just neg a deal that is less than the deal the company was freely giving us 2 years ago. That is amazing results. They must have spent many hours working so hard to give that much up to the company. Plus we still do not know how bad the PBS language is. We only know that by their own words that they moved aggressively towards the company.

Wow is right. I mean, I expected it to be bad, but I didn’t expect it to be THAT bad. If the pay is that horrendous, which is what they’ve always said they didn’t have an issue with, then what in the world must the PBS scheduling look like?? I don’t even think I need to read it to know.

I don’t disagree with you in regards to SLI and what we have to do in this position. But that’s not my point. You asked the question is “are we in this position of weakness because of RJ?” The answer is unequivocally yes! If you put blinders on and only view it from January, the answer is still yes.
viewed from a historical and contextual perspective if you ask yourself who made this **** sandwich we are going to have to eat (because I agree we have to eat it) there’s really only one answer.
So don’t sit there and tell us it takes leadership to do what he did. This isn’t a success it’s a failure.
