$57/hr X 72 hrs a month X 12 months a year

True…..figure on $50k.

With healthcare + 401k I’ve had checks < 1k on year one pay. Total of around $2,200 for the month.

Remember it gets cold in Flint in the winter - you’re gonna need a crashpsd or rental of some kind….deposit, utilities, etc…..

The base paycheck for me is $900 year one (second paycheck with the extras is a bit more). That's single person healthcare, 5% 401k, and 25% to the ESPP.

I went with a personal loan with a term of 3 years to help tide myself over that first year.

Is ESPP employee stock purchase plan? Not at Allegiant, but boy…that’s aggressive if that’s what it stands for.

No holding time and a 15% discount (so a 17.5% immediate rate of return). Dumping the stock the second it hits my account. Only downside is you can't touch the money until it buys every 6 months so not exactly liquid if you run into financial problems.

Smart, more people really should be taking advantage of this. I usually put the min in months 1-4 then months 5-6 I try to hit the max total limit and immediately sell to take the easy gain with only a 2 month hold period.

If every employee did that wouldn’t that cause the stock price to drop?

Don't think our stock needs any catalyst to drop...its been doing that on its own quite nicely for the last 18 months.

Sure you could cause a red short term candle if everyone sold at the same moment in time but the shares have to be purchased first so overall it's a net wash on the stock price since the company pays the discount when the buy orders are filled.
