Twit Air, a division of Space X.

It has a nice ring to it.

Maybe he could turn Sunseeker into a luxury private resort and live there Mar A Lago style.

I kind of like the sound of that.

From today's earnings call: new pipeline program agreement with Spartan college of aeronautics in Denver that will guarantee 250 new hires per year. Looks like classes will be full again starting in Jan.

This has been in the works for a whole. We also have R-ATPs coming. But it wont keep them here so the leverage still exists.

Details haven't been released yet, but I'd speculate that the student training college cost subsidized by G4 will include a training contract in return. It's an indirect way to offer a large new hire bonus (paid in tuition) while working around the CBA.

I sure hope the union would stop something like that in its tracks. Directly equates to a hiring bonus.

No one is surprised that management is finding a "work around" the contract to keep the machine going...

I don't think they can. The regionals got around their CBA's by signing with the pilots for the bonuses prior to the hire date, Therefore the union has no say. The CBA is not applicable until the pilot is on property as a paid employee.

If there's a way around our CBA then the company will figure out a way to keep the machine going. Shoot, even if there isn't a way management doesn't let the contract get in the way

Gee I wonder where they got that idea. Straight out of the Mesa playbook from the mid 2000s.

Have fun flying with those 750 hour FOs who have never flown anything larger than a Cessna. Pathetic. This is going to increase CA workload even higher.

They keep undermining safety without caring that if an airline of this size with the history it has ends up with a smoking crater, it's game over.
