My post was dripping with sarcasm. I know you're LUS.
I know you believe ALPA was the cause of the LUS/AWA merger debacle and that ALPA personally stole your pension, not the PIT LEC that gave it away to protect themselves. Enjoy working all year, since you most likely floated all your vacation. Also, enjoy picking up the straight time. Let me know when IMAX kicks in!

He's got a point. If the right to work legislation does pass how many guys will leave the APA. The numbers will be staggering at APA and UAL/DAL ALPA. Anyone within 5 or so years of ret need not pay, they won't be around for the next contract. Many hate the unions so much even if they have 20 yrs left they will leave. This will be bigger then NAI as the effect will be felt immedialty on the books of the union. Less money = less power.

Exactly my point. The ONLY way......THE ONLY WAY, for any union will keep their memberships is to figure out a way is to unite. And that way is the original way of unionism. Equality through LOS. This is the original principle under Benhke. But history is really lost on the many morons here that haven't read Flying the Line Vol. I and II.

Why is LOS such an important issue for you? Personal issue (greed)?
Not exactly the issue to unite pilots. Maybe you, but not the pilots (all).

You continue to make the point of our very demise being premised on pilots' individual greed and then you state your own "individual greed" - LOS.

If you knew ANYTHING about unionism, you would KNOW that employees that belonged to union and would strike then the employer would hire strikebreakers. The strikebreakers, who had LESS OR NO TIME with the company would get jobs and promotions over the strikebreakers. Hense the strikebreaker (aka SCABS) had less LOS than the strikebreaker. So I bid against quite a few strikebreakers.
Why is LOS such an important issue....for ANYONE? Certainly you can't be that ignorant, let alone naive. But let's get rid of seniority and see what happens. There won't be any contract negotiations anymore because pay raises and working conditions will come ONLY from the company for the most part.
Look, I'm resigned to the fact that my LOS was stolen. I can live with it because my 6 years left here will fill my account nicely. I used to be for the "Junior" guy. In my own way, I still am. But if LOS is not to your liking than complaining on the forum is going to be the only thing you'll ever have. LAWA were junior guys, much of LAA was junior guys and they jumped in front of most TWA guys and LUS.
My enemy is APA, ALPA and the lies and promises of unionist doublespeak. I love this job, I love to fly and I love the people I work with. I can't stand the stupidity of most of the pilots here and I call them out on it.
See you at Norwegian.

And even ANOTHER point, why don't YOU ask the others on this forum if LOS is an important issue for them? Really, how many of you reading this tripe DONT THINK LOS IS IMPORTANT? Either working for this airline or another airline? Be honest.
