I'm sure your smart enough to comprehend the inference.
I'm a AAL pilot. With a AAL pilot seniority number. And just like you I will be to the day I retire.
Doesn't matter where I came from. Where I've been. Or what I think my seniority number should be. I'm here at AAL now with a seniority number whose relative placement amongst my fellow pilots will not change.
I believe in unionism because without it we would only be that much worse off. I like my job. Enjoy working with my fellow pilots. And have every intent on continuing to fight to make this profession better for us all. Senior and Junior alike.
Unlike you I fully intend to keep fighting
so that those that have recently arrived and are about to arrive may have a much better career than we had.
I wish mine had been somehow better but I am not about to screw the junior pilot as you allude to so that my final years are somewhat more lucrative.
That's definitely not unionism.

My only advice to you is I wouldn't spit on me when I cross the picket line. I don't think you'll like the results.

I say tomato.
You say "potatoe"
I say MONEY!
Because THAT is now the new "principle". You're right, LOS means nothing. Enjoy your leverage, I say ME!

"When."
Boy if that's not principled unionism, I don't know what is. APA/ALPA - both will suck with 15000+ independent contractors. How can LOS or anything else of great importance matter with such principles?!?

If you are crossing a picket lune, it won't be just him you need to worry about. Better bring friends. Guys like yourself usually don't have many of those though.

So much is lost in written communications...
RTE66 isn't crossing any picket line. I know where he lives and would break his legs. The bigger point is there will be no picket line at AA or any other major network US airline as long as the RLA is intact.
