reason 1,247,101 of why I live in base , but seriously there are a lot reasons to live in base, but not having to deal with JS bull**** and gate agents not knowing what they are doing when it comes to JS was very high up on the list. I commuted for about 5 1/2 years, never again!

what does Skywest’s JS agreements look like? They fly for Delta, United, Alaska, and American don’t they? I honestly don’t know, just curious if this “industry standard” you speak of applies to them.

I meant do they have agreements with all those airlines they fly for similar to what yall are seeking with AA? Seems like they would be in a similar situation as Republic based on the type of flying they do and how their pilots fly across multiple brands like yall do I believe.

So then you guys do get priority on DAL and UAL over everyone else like I said earlier. So if I try to jumpseat on Delta, I’ll get bumped out by a RAH pilot. UAL, same thing. And that goes for Alaska Fedex JetBlue etc pilots trying to jumpseat too. Now you want the same on AA and you’re being told no, and that’s causing a temper tantrum. Seriously, who do you guys think you are? If that’s how the other two big guys want to write their agreements then that’s their prerogative. “Industry standard” doesn’t mean it’s right.

Our JS Committee informed us APA has walked away and as a result nothing further can be done. We would have preferred option 1 to be implemented but now APA has chosen option 2.
