I don't have a dog in your fight. But it might be a reason to consider voting no. Or even better, get APA to go back to mgmt and demand they match UA & DL. AA has 12 year pay rate of $336.89 for nb CA, UA is $338.48, or $1.59 more if I am reading it right (they call it DOS, but that must be years of service not date of signing). Who cares... |
Ummm...... "No".

If you would vote no over a <$2/hr difference, you're not seeing the rest of the picture. There may be legit reasons to vote no, but that isn't one of them.

Who cares about the <$2? Read through the rest of it. It's all better than ours.
AA contract has some pretty good reserve stuff in there such as no call out time and no distance to live near base, UA has hot reserve, AA does not. Would you trade that? Would you throw the junior under the bus for the stuff in the UA contract? I bet most would but definitely not a great look. |

It's not $2. It's more like 2%. Over every cell on every Table. after you do the require math, that will put the NB rate you just quoted at about 356.52. $20 bucks an hour enough to make you reconsider? The 2026 value will be about $404.86. Top end caption will be 483.68.
