so he reached out to isom and not Kirby? That story is unlikely but a convenient excuse

This is Great News for AA pilots !

More details to follow…
I'd be embarrassed to be El Panso right now. Look at the new email from the BOD. Thank God they ignore these company hacks and bright eyed newbs.

Is it perfect ? No (I never said so)…

Is it a great improvement to the previously offered TA ? Yes… Now a $10 Billion dollar Deal !

For your own sake brother, have some positivity in your life.

Don’t sweat the small stuff fighting over what color Floor-Mats you’re getting, look at the overall Big-Picture.

Wish you the best…

Cheers
ohh I guess one is being a negative Nancy because you just want industry standard. Are you serious bro? GTFO

Your management just saw what 2 ALPA carriers got and they know they have to meet it to remain competitive. And once again APA look like clowns. Great job guys, keep up the good work
As an AA pilot, this is spot on.

Imagine how bad one must feel about themselves that they post on a message board on Friday night within minutes of news about their rival, crapping all over them and the employees. All done to feel superior about themselves and their life choices.

You know those rj pilots that would **** all over their competitors over a $1/hr difference in pay or xyz contract language or how such and such company was "bringing the industry down"? Yeah, they grew up aged and this is what they do now.

No idea. Would you be surprised at a different reaction from Isom/APA as compared to Kirby/UALPA post Tumi debacle?

Oh please. Save the woe is me act. I’ve been on here many, many times telling anyone who will listen that APA is a garbage union (from my own personal dealings with them). And yet all many of you do is crap on me in return. I get that I’m brash and I get that I come off like an a-hole. But I’m not. I’d love to see you guys ditch APA.

Your APA president is a liar and your BOD is broken. To any prospective new hires looking at this from the outside, take note. Who represents you has a direct effect on what your worth in this business. Why anyone would want to be represented by APA at this point is beyond me.

APA is a mess, no doubt… but don’t gloss over how much AA management despises its labor.

agreed. the level of mooching and lack of pattern bargaining is damaging to the profession and sets up AA pilots as the industry's weaklings.

Nope. Not buying that excuse/cop-out. You can replace "AA management" above with [any airline management] and the same holds true. If APA/AA pilots spent as much energy fighting to raise the bar as they do making excuses for why they can't, we'd actually be getting somewhere as an industry.

Instead, as a group, you're just an anchor weighing the rest of us down. you've had what, 2-3 bites of the apple to RAISE the bar, and failed every time. I'd be ashamed to ask for a jumpseat on DL or UAL.
