Default Commute to CLT or MIA waiting for DCA

No DCA320s in my drop so curious which would be better for a short-term commute. Worst case CLT is an 8-hour drive.

Assuming you live in DCA metro…

can take AA or DL shuttle
to LGA every 30 minutes…

can be top 50% within months…

don’t understand why CLT or MIA is even in your list. must be missing something here.

¿Dónde vives?

Honestly it’s probably tough to beat CLT for commute options. CLT will be slower seniority though.

Also what the other guy said, LGA would be super easy from DCA temporarily.

No 320s to LGA in our drop otherwise I would have. There is a 737 to DCA but I’m not a 737 fan. I live 20
minutes south of BWI.

I don't see any advantage to Airbus over 737 in DC. You'd have better seniority on the 737. Once you get the flows down and stuff, the 737 is more than fine. Don't make it hard on yourself if you have a chance at DCA 737 in class.

PHL 320 if it’s an option and drive it. It’s about 2 - 2.5hrs.

You should reconsider the 73 then and jump on that. Roughly 1/3 of their bid pack (eyeballing) is BWI. I have to keep myself from looking too often because I'd be tempted.

Airbus is actually junior in DC (in both seats I believe even), generally speaking

Another good point, assuming they are available, if I were you my preference would be: DCA 73, PHL Bus, CLT (easy call over Miami due to the number of flights we run there daily between DCA and BWI).
