No thanks. It will be the same crap with ALPA, just with more of our money going to DC feeding the huge ALPA bureaucracy. Our problem is the culture here. I guarantee things will be no different under ALPA.

Best example: Outgoing base reps choosing their successors, and pilots having appointed rather than elected representatives, which is what happened in DFW. In DFW the pilots are being reperesented by two pilots appointed, not elected, the very antithesis of a democratic organization. Under ALPA, a vacant seat triggers a special election for an elected representative to serve.

That's just one of many, many examples.

Pilots need to really do objective research and leave emotion and resentments out of the equation.
