It was smaller and more convieniant to access as well as being more laid back in atmosphere. DFW is not bad and the Landing does have an awesome gym if that is your thing like mine. The downside is unless you have a car, you are dependant upon the hotel shuttle and they are not always available when you need them. There is food on property but I really have not tried it as I have heard some mixed reviews. I may yet before Im done however. There are plenty of resturaunt options across the street and you can buy some stuff at the local WalMart (via the van ride) and keep it in your room. "The Tavern" bar on property seems pretty cool though as I went by one night. They do close at 10pm sharp though.
The drinks at the Tavern are expensive but the food is good. Go try it.

The omelettes at the training center are good too.

Only people who get in "trouble" bring it on themselves. It's not that hard to not be offensive.

The dad jokes, the cringe and the EGOs. Oh my.
None of the other gym users met any pilot stereotype while I was there. Average age well under 30. Nary a boomer in sight.

It's a a pretty talented environment overall. I could only hope someone senior to me would be a dumbs--- and do something stupid on company property to another employee. Need all the movement we can get with 67 around the corner.

Have you guys ever been to a gym before? It’s not a crew room with a bunch of boomers sitting around over coffee shooting the $hit. It’s employees from all departments getting in a workout. People barely even speak to each other.

Chasing Flight Attendants, especially on company property, is never going to end well. You were warned.

Speaking of getting in trouble, do we stay at a separate hotel for the first day or two when the spouses are in town?

agreed. There were a bunch of us in my class 2/22 that went through Charlotte. They use Charlotte for bus new hires. Definitely request Charlotte if desired.
