Exactly. If we hire more than 1000 in 2025, I've got my fork and knife ready to chow on some crow. Unfortunately, I think I'll be going hungry.

My buddies at Delta are hearing rumors that they are going to pull back to 500 next year now. Which matches retirements.

1000/yr movement is pretty freaking awesome for the next 3-4 years. That puts anyone on property now in a really good position, especially those of us retiring in the later 2040's and 2050's. I went from ~12.5k to ~7k from 2019 to 2024, the movement has been insane, I don't think many of us can comprehend how good it's been.

Covid absolutely sucked but paradoxically it gave us huge contract gains coming out the back side of it as well.

Calls for the Jan 22 class have been going out this week, looking like it will cover all March CJOs and potentially some April CJOs. So far class assignments have been offered strictly in CJO order.

I know July was the last interviews before they turned it off.

Did they interview May and June too? Thought I remembered one month they didn’t have interviews.

They did interview May/June. The theory that the updated drug screen email gets sent exactly 90 days prior to class isn’t holding up, but they are sent in batches that seem to correlate to a projected class. The last drug screen emails went out on 11/7 to late-May CJOs.

I got my drug screen email two weeks ago.. waiting for that class date phone call still. May 24 CJO, wondering if I’ll start in Feb or March? Anyone have insight? Waiting patiently over here at Spirit.
