By the way, if APA had negotiated so much as a single dollar an hour more during the last contract cycle, it would have triggered a mandatory 1% snap up clause in the rest of our contracts. That would have bought plenty of iPhones.

FWIW, ALPA national just announced another dues return for 2025 dues totaling $53M to its membership (2024 dues return was $49M, and 2023 dues return was $50M). Combined with the DL ALPA MEC dues return, those numbers previously resulted in an effective dues rate of about 1.5% for DL pilots. ish.
More importantly, the ALPA Executive Council voted to permanently reduce dues from 1.85% to 1.55%. It still has to pass the Board of directors, but clearly is expected to pass, and will be effective at the start of next year. They finally decided to stop collecting dues to just return them, and just lower the rate.
Not sure if it matters to AA folks anymore, but thought some of you might be interested.

Not sure why you guys think getting you a snap up from our top rate that affects far less pilots at APA would be a negotiating priority.

Overrides are industry standard. Most have them.
