im 35% in LGA and I can count on 1 hand how many trips I’ve been able to drop. Yesterday in TTS my next trip was green so I dropped it, but that is NOT normal.

Small bases seem to get restricted more by OTL than the big bases. I can only drop turns, which i do a lot. Friends in CLT and DFW, at least historically, have been able to drop to zero after starting with exclusively longer trips, by trading down to shorter and shorter trips til drop

If you can hold 1 or 2 day trips in PBS they will drop. Three days or more you have to trade or hope someone else wants them. A green 3 day has been a unicorn for over a year.
I’m a ‘drop everything’ guy who posts every trip immediately when the schedules load and that’s been my experience.

Maybe, just maybe, APU will be a net positive as they see more pickups? Less need for reserves might actually turn to more lines, so more trips to churn in TTS, with APU getting the scraps so OTLs might loosen too?
Wait...I smell toast

No, senior in junior bases, but junior in senior bases. They were able to drop their entire schedule, and just picked up OOBMU. APU has made it even easier, because they just have to be the fastest to accept the trip now.

The APU is not the problem, it’s the dropping all your schedule. If you’re senior enough to get all day turns, then sure, otherwise, not a chance. The more “flexible” months you can do play a little bit from 3 to 2 and all that, but unfortunately, OTL is senior to us 😂
