So the window "closed" at midnight, wonder how long it will be before the start sending out the invites for video interviews? Don't think the references will play a role until after the 3rd phase.

Kinda wondering the same. A friend of mine was able to get into it today.

I wonder if it might be something along the lines of the "close" date may simply be more of a snapshot. And when they go to review apps it'll only be ones that are submitted in the time frame, etc. Sort of but not entirely like the method USAir uses in that regard.

I'm a little surprised that since it's pilotcredentials, they didn't do like SW and FX do. If you don't get in in the window, you can't get in till it opens again. Although if you did get in during the window, you can ALWAYS update even though it's closed.

Has any one received a second email? I know my external recommendations have received emails back thanking them for the recommendation. Internal recommendations have heard nothing.

Do they only care about internal letters of recommendation? Or letters from anyone?

I don't think the window closed at all. I think it is United/Delta style and stays open. They most likely said that they wouldn't review apps until 9 Oct to keep the web sight from crashing due to thousands of applicants trying to get their info in first and maybe get a perceived edge.

Was wanting to know about the recommendation letters. Unlike airline apps on this application with AA it does not give you the option to send a link to the person writing the letter on your behalf by using their email. It appears the person would have to write one then Email it to you where you have to upload it yourself. Am I missing something or am I reading the directions right?
