I bid reserve to avoid working...so I pick a RAP time that favors that lifestyle choice since I live in base. February I was gone 3 nights...so technically six days of work...flew 3 and deadheaded 3....total block for the month was only 5.5 hrs. The reserves that go on earlier in the day work a lot more ... possibly as much as 40 hrs. I would say average overall is approx 25-30 hrs of credit.

The 4am and 7am RAPs get abused. I was 7 am for Feb and worked 60 hours. Worked about 45 in Jan. I've been here a year and just got displaced out to another base, where I can actually hold a line. Charlotte is old...

I'm about the same total....heavy mil IP...870 tpic....2 internals and a masters....my app has been in a year and I've heard crickets

About 5% of the highly qualified (however that's defined) were hired. So the majority heard crickets.
The Big 4 will hire about 25-30% of the highly qualified pool in 2015. So the majority will hear crickets.

Really? There are guys who would LOVE to have this job and you complain about being ABUSED? No wonder no one in the Company respects the pilots.
