I'm so tired of reading the more, more, more BS, yes...we always can do better but for the love of God acknowledge the fact that it's pretty damn good and a lot of folks are working a lot harder to make a days wage. IE....regional guys and deployed MIL guys.

You aren't gonna find a lot of sympathy on these forums when there are 11,000 apps on file.

Know my audience?

Are you ok with below average "dude" ?

I was a regional guy. I made less than 17k my first year, so to quote u I know what it's like to work a lot harder for a days wage.

Sorry but I don't believe that I'm worth below average, if you do that's fine and dandy but my dad (who was military ) raised me different. In no way shape or form do I mean this as a personal attack. Again if u are or were military thank u very much for your service.

Yes "dude"

Let me guess, we both probably worked at the same prop job regional flying the northeast while making 19$/hr.

I get it, but when I say know your audience I mean your posting in the interviews forum. I personally know more than 10 dudes who would give their left or right nut to have just an interview at a legacy. I'm pretty sure it's not 1976 anymore and this career field isn't the same as it used to be. Granted I don't disagree we need to work towards better but it's by no means as bad as some portray it on these forums.

I apologize but I get tired of the more, give us more stuff. Just realize we do pretty well relative to most.

I don't pretend to know what the criteria is for an interview but I would think you should be very competitive.

Honestly I'm still trying to figure out how I got a call...either way I'm grateful

If that's the case I need to keep posting to inform those on here. Not to not take the job, but to take the job and try to make it better. I fear yes voters have hurt prospective pilots for a long time however.

We didn't work at the same place as I was rich making $21 an hour I think

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I have been too busy to visit the "boards" lately but if you have been in this business long enough the whiners on these web boards are too focused to see the forest for the trees.

They are also the vocal minority.

I hope you get hired. Good luck.
