Any intel on new hire classes for the remainder of the year? Lots of us in limbo waiting for a class. Maybe we should start a "Poolie" thread like every other airline

That sounds like a great idea, would save me the time of searching multiple feeds for some information.

A class started this morning. I believe classes are running for the rest of the year but it might only be 1 class a month as compared to the normal 2.

Drop always occurs today (day 2/ wed) in the afternoon. Being around the school house I've heard no rumors of equip.

If AA is still running classes, it'll be 3 days of "Welcome to the Company" in DFW, followed by 10 days of Basic Indoc in PHX. If you go to the East side, most likely, you'll go to CLT for about 12 days or so of Ground School with a Systems and Procedures Validation at the end (like an oral). Then, if you get the Airbus, you'll go to 1 day of Theater Specific Operations (Latin America and Caribbean) and then 10 sims. Sims 1-4 with a Maneuvers Validation on Sim 5, then 3 more sims, a pre-check ride and then a Line Oriented Evaluation (checkride) on Sim 10.

It's all AQP training. Very good instructors and very good training.
