As it stands now I hear that it's just the rest of this month and next. AA is still not sure how many recalls will be coming back.

we shall see! I was just trying to figure out if they were going to empty the pool before the recalls get back or have people wait until after.

Just an update. I was looking at my pilot credentials application, and it seems that the "Additional Info" tab has now been removed. I'm not sure if this is a step forwards or backwards with regard to getting a call for a F2F interview. What do you guys think? Has this happened to anyone else in the same boat as me? I still have not received any communication from Pilot Hiring.

It took me 10 months to hear back from pilot hiring regarding a f2f after the "more info" tab. Dont panic and realize the May 1 dealine for furlough returnees. Thibgs should be more clear in May.

May 6 is the deadline for the to declare whether they are coming back or not.

The latest rumor is that the class size will be reduced to 10 beginning in May. There will be two classes of ten in May and beyond.

I don't think that's the deadline per se, as in anyone who hasn't indicated an interest to return is dropped from the list type of situation, but instead, that is the date AA recruitment starts placing calls, working their way up the list to fill classes type of situation. As such, one would think depending on the percentage of people accepting a recall class, it could take only a few months or significantly longer to reach the most senior deferee with a class offer. I'm not sure if they could just do a mass calling beginning on that date over a few days and get a final percentage of acceptance as I think contractually, that pilot has to offered a specific class to accept or decline.

The above is just my understanding though and may be incorrect.
